NBCSN could borrow this Panthers-Cardinals game for its Premier League highlight shows, because all the scoring is being done by the kickers.

The Panthers lead the fast-moving game 6-3 at halftime, with both teams missing chances left and right.

Panthers coach Ron Rivera ditched his conservative style in the second quarter, going for a fourth-and-1 deep in Arizona territory. But wide receiver Brandon LaFell dropped it, when it would have been a chip shot for Graham Gano. The Panthers tried to give away another field goal just before the half, but Gano hit a 51-yarder after a holding penalty negated his initial try.

Drops by Steve Smith derailed an earlier drive, and Cam Newton had a bad interception just before halftime as well, but Carson Palmer’s thrown a pair of interceptions to keep the Panthers well in it.
