If Kellen Winslow was unhappy about his reduced role last week, he’s going to be distraught with himself for the next month.

The NFL announced that the Jets tight end was suspended four games for violating the league’s performance enhancing substances policy. He’ll be eligible to return Monday, Nov. 4.

The Jets had listed him as doubtful earlier today, and coach Rex Ryan said his absence had been excused. Now we know what his reason was, and why he’ll miss the next month of games.
