As Sunday’s games approach, the question we’re getting more often than any other relates to the status of Lions receiver Calvin Johnson.

Apart from the reality that his presence (or absence) will go a long way toward determining the outcome of the Detroit-Cleveland clash, his presence (or absence) could have a strong impact on the outcome of fantasy football matchups throughout the globe.

Johnson’s availability despite a knee injury will be determined at game time. Game time is approaching, but for now there’s no specific word on whether he’ll play.

We’ll be monitoring all available sources and outlets and posting the latest right here. It could be that we won’t know the answer until the inactives for the game are announced at 11:30 a.m. ET, or thereabouts.
