The Packers have made the Ravens’ offense pay for its aggressiveness in Sunday’s game at Baltimore.

First, the Packers stuffed Ravens running back Bernard Pierce on a 4th-and-goal run from the Green Bay 1 a little more than midway through the second quarter.

Then, with the Ravens trailing just 3-0 in the final moments of the first half and needing 25-30 yards to get into field goal range, Packers outside linebacker Nick Perry hit Joe Flacco, causing a fumble recovered by Datone Jones, who returned it to the Baltimore 20 with two seconds left in the half. The Packers would tack on a field goal for a 6-0 halftime lead.

The Ravens’ offense has struggled to get much going on the ground, and the passing game has sputtered, too. In short, the Packers’ defense has been the difference thus far, with Green Bay holding a 9-3 lead with less than five minutes left in the third quarter.
