Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson is picking apart the Cardinals’ secondary.
Seattle’s first two offensive drives on Thursday night in Arizona both turned into long marches toward the end zone, culminating in Wilson touchdown passes. The first was a five-play, 83-yard drive that ended with Wilson rolling out and throwing a sensational deep ball to Sidney Rice for a 31-yard touchdown. The second was an 11-play, 72-yard drive that ended with Wilson finding Zach Miller in the deep middle of the end zone for a 15-yard touchdown.
The Seahawks also got an outstanding play on defense from Brandon Browner and Earl Thomas, with Browner knocking a Carson Palmer pass away from Larry Fitzgerald, and Thomas diving for the ball to intercept it near the sideline.
An early 14-0 deficit is going to be tough for the Cardinals to overcome. It could be a long night for Arizona.
