DeMarcus Ware, DeMarco Murray doubtful for Cowboys vs. Eagles

AP

The Cowboys have officially confirmed that defensive end DeMarcus Ware and running back DeMarco Murray are unlikely to play on Sunday in Philadelphia.

Although Ware said he expects to make the trip to Philadelphia and wants to test out his injured quad in pregame warmups, he is listed as doubtful on the Cowboys’ injury report. Murray is also listed as doubtful with a knee injury.

If Ware does sit out, it will be the first game he’s missed in his nine-year career. Murray has had health problems in all three of his NFL seasons and is beginning to develop the injury-prone label.

The Cowboys listed receivers Miles Austin and Dwayne Harris, plus defensive linemen Jason Hatcher and George Selvie, as probable. Running back Lance Dunbar and defensive end Edgar Jones are out.

  1. I think the main RB that doesn’t have ‘injury problems’ across multiple seasons is the exception now rather than the rule.

Petersen, Mendenhall, Johnson, Bradshaw, Jacobs, Jones-Drew, Gore … the list is pretty long well you get the idea. McCoy in Philly is an exception.

It isn’t like Murray is the 1st RB in the NFL to ever get injured.

  2. I will be in Xfinity Live in South Philly come Sunday afternoon, where anyone wearing a cowboys jersey will be “tar’d and feather’d” for free!

    #34-17 EAGLES

As Marco from Trapoja said. “Goood Luck”

  4. LOL…start them both. I’d love to see the Brothers Demarco gimping around out there against Shady, DeSean, Fletcher Cox and Trent Cole.

I would worry more about mcoy and ddsean than trent cole. We cant cover backs in the receiving game and both have always pkayed well against the Cowboys. Trent cole did well against the REDSKINS… NOTHING SINCE. 2 sacks in the last 10 games right? Injured dware has 4 or 5 this season in a new position. 5 rings to 0 Rings.

  6. If these cowboys can’t win this game….
Well, no way the Eagles beat the cowboys. Dallas should win this division by 4 or 5 games. What a sorry group of teams. If they didnt play each other there would only be a couple of victories. So dallas wins the division and gets trampled in the first round of the playoffs.
