After a skirmish between Cardinals defensive tackle Alameda Ta’amu and 49ers offensive lineman Alex Boone, Boone went to the sideline screaming, “He kicked me in the f–king face.” The league office was just as unhappy with Ta’amu as Boone was.

Ta’amu was fined $10,000 for stepping on Boone’s face. That’s more than the $7,875 Boone was fined for hitting Ta’amu before that.

Also fined for an incident in the Cardinals-49ers game was Cardinals safety Tyrann Mathieu, whose pay was docked $7,875 for tackling 49ers running back Kendall Hunter deep in the end zone after Hunter had already scored a touchdown. Mathieu was flagged for that cheap shot, and 49ers receiver Anquan Boldin was flagged for retaliating against Mathieu, but the NFL did not fine Boldin.

Cardinals defensive end Darnell Dockett was fined $7,875 for a late hit against the 49ers, and 49ers tackle Anthony Davis was fined $15,750 for an illegal block in the back against the Cardinals.
