Clemson crowd targets Arrowhead’s six-day-old record

Chiefs

The noise regarding noise won’t go away.

Six days after fans at Arrowhead Stadium claimed the official Guinness World Record for crowd noise with 137.5 decibels from the folks at CenturyLink Field with 136.6, fans at Clemson’s Death Valley hope to beat it.

As explained by Chris Folwer on ESPN College Gameday, the plan will be to make as much noise as possible on the first offensive snap taken by Florida State -- and to top the record set in Kansas City.

“How do they know that?” Lee Corso said, without injecting any profanity.

They know it due to decibel meters, and if the folks at Clemson are successful today, look for the Arrowhead crowd to attempt to one-up them on Sunday against the Texans.

And then Seattle will be on the clock for its December 2 Monday nighter against the Saints.
