The Broncos have a few problems at the moment, but perhaps none bigger than an injury on an innocuous-looking play.

Cornerback Champ Bailey left the game in the second quarter, apparently aggravating the foot injury that cost him the first five games of the season.

The veteran corner didn’t return, and based on his reaction when he slammed his helmet to the field, he might not. He was being blocked by fullback Stanley Havili, and pulled up immediately.

Of course, the Broncos have some coming back to do of their own.

Ever since a sack-forced fumble by Robert Mathis was recovered for a safety, the Colts are rolling, up 26-14 at halftime.

Andrew Luck’s thrown three touchdowns, running stride-for-stride with the guy he replaced. Actually, Manning hasn’t looked right since taking the blind-side shot from his former teammate, so the advantage might lie with the new guy.
