It took nearly 60 percent of regulation time to run off the clock, but we finally saw a touchdown in Sunday’s Cowboys-Eagles game.

Cowboys running back Phillip Tanner did the honors, scoring from one yard out to give the Cowboys a 10-0 lead 5:43 into the second half.

The Eagles’ offense has struggled, with quarterback Nick Foles completing just 11-of-26 passes for 80 yards and running back LeSean McCoy held to just 28 rushing yards on 10 carries thus far for Philadelphia.

According to the Fox telecast, the Eagles’ scoreless first half was the first time a Chip Kelly-coached team has ever been held without a point in any half in his head-coaching career.
