So far, this game between replacement players looks a little like a game played by replacement players.

The Falcons have a 14-0 lead early in the second quarter against the Buccaneers, after a 19-yard touchdown pass from Matt Ryan to running back Jacquizz Rodgers.

The Falcons are moving the ball well enough against the winless Bucs, though they’re clearly coming to grips with being without wideouts Julio Jones and Roddy White and running back Steven Jackson.

The first touchdown of the game so far came early, when a sack-fumble of Bucs quarterback Mike Glennon was recovered and returned 30 yards for a touchdown by Falcons safety Thomas DeCoud.

Glennon’s 4-of-9 passing so far for a meager 37 yards, and they’re not running well either. Of course, the Falcons are so depleted on defense it won’t be a shock if the Bucs crawl back into this.

UPDATE 1:51 P.M. ET: Yep, Vincent Jackson just hauled in a ridiculous one-handed touchdown grab from 59 yards out to cut the gap to 14-7.
