On Tuesday, Cardinals coach Bruce Arians said that receiver Larry Fitzgerald played last Thursday at 80 percent of his capacity, due to a lingering hamstring injury. Arians suggested that Fitzgerald would skip practice Wednesday to help rest the strained muscle.
But that’s not the way Fitzgerald is wired. He fully participated in practice on Thursday, according to Darren Urban of the team’s official website.
Not practicing were guard Daryn Colledge (back), running back Rashard Mendenhall (toe), linebacker Matt Shaughnessy (knee), and guard Earl Watford (knee). Receiver Jaron Brown (ankle), linebacker Karlos Dansby (quad), receiver Brittan Golden (hammie), running back Alfonso Smith (hammie), and nose tackle Alameda Ta’amu (hip) were limited.
The 3-4 Cardinals host the 2-4 Falcons on Sunday in what could be, as a practical matter, a late October elimination game.
