Finnegan closes in on return to action

Finnegan

When the Rams face the Seahawks on Monday night in the game no one in St. Louis will be watching, cornerback Cortland Finnegan could be playing.

Finnegan, who injured his thigh during a Week Four Thursday night game against the 49ers, officially is listed as questionable for the Monday night game, according to Jim Thomas of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.

Finnegan was limited in practice on Thursday and Friday. He did not practice on Saturday.

Also questionable are center Scott Wells (thigh) and running back Benny Cunningham (ankle).

Those are the only names on the team’s injury report, but the biggest injury the team has suffered all season happened to starting quarterback Sam Bradford, who has been placed on injured reserve with a torn ACL.
