The Cowboys suffered a painful loss as a team in Detroit on Sunday.

It was a painful day for guard Brian Waters as an individual as well. Waters suffered injuries to his knee, triceps and rib during the game, leaving the contest briefly in the first half and then again in the second half for good. He’s set to undergo MRIs on Monday, which calls to mind the game Operation given the number of injuries that Waters is dealing with at the moment.

“We’ll have more information tomorrow,” Waters said, via the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. “Just trying to make it out of Detroit alive. That’s about it. I’m not concerned about it right now. There’s nothing I can do about it today, so until I find out more information we’ll see what happens.”

The Cowboys play the Vikings and Saints in the next two weeks before going on their bye week. It wouldn’t be too surprising if Waters winds up missing those contests to make sure he makes it out of the season alive as well.
