The Seahawks won an ugly one over the Buccaneers last week, but they’re on the verge of looking much better.

Seahawks coach Pete Carroll said Friday that wide receiver Percy Harvin would practice next week, and that tackles Russell Okung and Breno Giacomini would practice next Wednesday with an eye toward playing next weekend.

Harvin worked a week ago, then they pulled the reins back a bit to let him take his time coming back from preseason hip surgery.

Percy is the best he’s been,” Carroll said, via our Curtis Crabtree. “He had another excellent day. He’s not ready to play this week. He’ll return to practice, hopefully, next week and we’ll just go one day at a time then. All of the signs are really encouraging.

“He feels good. He’s not having any issues after he works out the next day so I think we’ve built up enough days here to take a real good positive step. I don’t know what that means in terms of playing next week but we’re hoping he’ll be able to get some extra work and really jump back into it.”

The tackles worked fully in practice Friday, and should be full speed for next Week 11.

The Seahawks are playing well enough to be 8-1 without those guys at the moment. Adding them in for the stretch run could make them even more dangerous than they already appear.
