For the second straight week, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers jumped out to a sizable first half lead.

For the second straight week, the lead has disappeared.

Ryan Tannehill connected with Rishard Matthews for a 19-yard touchdown pass late in the third quarter, their second touchdown hook up of the game, as the Miami Dolphins rallied from a 15-0 deficit to take a 16-15 lead over the Buccaneers.

Tampa Bay held a 21-0 lead over the Seattle Seahawks last week before ultimately falling 27-24 in overtime.

A 35-yard field goal from Rian Lindell gave the Buccaneers a 15-0 lead with nine minutes to play in the second quarter. Tannehill then got Miami on the board with a 6-yard touchdown pass to Matthews late in the first half.

Caleb Sturgis added a 40-yard field goal to pull the Dolphins within reach at 15-10. Matthews second score of the night, and his career, gave the Dolphins the lead. A two-point conversion attempt from Tannehill to Mike Wallace fell incomplete.

The Dolphins quickly threatened again after Jimmy Wilson intercepted Mike Glennon on the ensuing possession and returned it to the Buccaneers’ 7-yard line. However, Tampa Bay held defensively and forced a 30-yard field goal from Sturgis that extended the lead to 19-15 with 10 seconds to play in the third quarter.
