Harvin activated from physically unable to perform

The Seahawks took a step toward improving an offense that was doing a little better than just getting by.

The team announced they had activated wide receiver Percy Harvin from the physically unable to perform list.

Coach Pete Carroll said last week Harvin would practice more this week, and had previously indicated he was comfortable stashing him on the inactive list for a few weeks if he needed the time to recover from preseason hip surgery.

The Seahawks had a better day in the passing game yesterday, with Golden Tate, Doug Baldwin and Jermaine Kearse each making plays. As nice as that is, Harvin could add an element they’ve lacked most of the year, even while running out to a 9-1 record.
