The Saints beat the Cowboys by a comfortable 49-17 margin on Sunday night, but they did suffer one loss in their secondary.

Safety Kenny Vaccaro posted on Instagram that he will miss the team’s Week 11 date with the 49ers after suffering a concussion against Dallas. Vaccaro suffered the injury while trying to tackle Cowboys tight end Jason Witten in the second half and did not return after Witten’s knee collided with his helmet at the end of the play.

It’s the second concussion that Vaccaro has suffered this season. He was previously injured in the team’s victory over the Bills, but didn’t miss any games as a result of that injury.

Vaccaro’s been an integral part of the team’s defense since they selected him in the first round, so his absence will be a noticeable one. It will be a less painful one if Roman Harper and/or Malcolm Jenkins can make it back into the lineup. Both were out against the Cowboys, but they practiced last week and could be in the mix for a return to the lineup against the 49ers.
