Sanford fully expects to see Harvin against the Vikings

Harvin

The Seahawks likely don’t believe they need receiver Percy Harvin to beat the Vikings in Seattle on Sunday. Harvin likely believe he needs to face his former team.

Former teamate Jamarca Sanford fully expects to see Harvin.

No doubt in my mind,” Sanford said Monday, via ESPN.com. “If he had any chance to be back for a game, I knew it was going to be this. I’m pretty sure he’s frustrated [with the injury], but he’s a strong guy and I’m pretty sure he’s worked and worked his tail off. We know how hard Percy works. So he busted his tail to get back for this game, so he’s back in action this week.”

Harvin was activated from the physically unable to perform list on Monday, making him eligible to play for the first time on Sunday against Minnesota.

The activation of Harvin doesn’t mean he’ll definitely play. Since Harvin returned to practice on October 22, Harvin had to be added to the active roster by Tuesday or shut down for the rest of the season.

With the Vikings struggling and the Seahawks one game away from a bye, don’t be shocked if Harvin makes a cameo at best on Sunday.
