San Francisco 49ers linebacker Aldon Smith was in court Tuesday just two days after his first game back with the team to appear on three felony weapons charges stemming from an incident at a party in June 2012.

According to the Associated Press, Smith pleaded not guilty to all three charges of illegal possession of an assault weapon.

Detectives found five unregistered weapons in Smith’s house after coming to the residence after several shots were reportedly fired and two people were left injured.

Smith’s next court appearance on the weapons charges is scheduled for January 15. However, Smith is due in court next Tuesday to appear on DUI charges stemming from his early morning incident heading to the 49ers’ facility in September. Smith left the 49ers to enter a rehab facility before returning to the team last week.
