Michael Floyd played just one quarter for the Arizona Cardinals last week against the Houston Texans as a sprained shoulder forced him to the sidelines.

Despite a sprained A/C joint in his right shoulder, Floyd expects to play this week against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

I feel pretty good, but I think after tomorrow, having two days to get treatment and stuff like that, getting it prepared for the game, it’ll help me out,” Floyd said, via Josh Weinfuss of ESPN.com. “Yeah, I’ll play.”

Floyd returned to practice for the Cardinals on Thursday. He was able to catch passes for receivers coach Kevin Garver near the level of his shoulders but elected not to throw balls back overhand.

“I don’t want to put too much stress on it,” Floyd said.

Floyd has caught 36 passes for 464 yards and two touchdowns for the Cardinals this season.
