Sunday’s Ravens-Bears game in Chicago has resumed after a weather delay of close to two hours.

The Ravens lead 10-0 early in the second quarter.

Turf conditions at Soldier Field merit close watch as the game goes on. Footing appears to be less than ideal. The rain has stopped, but the turf is water-laden.

The Ravens’ offense has received a lift from running back Ray Rice, who gained 60 yards on eight first-quarter carries. He scored the game’s first touchdown before the threat of storms forced teams off the field and fans out of the stands and into the concourses.

Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco has also played well. He completed 6-of-9 passes for 54 yards in the first quarter and gained 11 yards on a scramble to earn a first down as the first period came to a close.
