The Chargers have lost several pass rushing options this season, but they could get one back in the next three weeks.

The team announced Tuesday that Melvin Ingram will practice on Wednesday. Ingram tore the ACL in his left knee in May and was placed on the physically unable to perform list at the start of training camp. The team will have until December 10 to decide whether to add the linebacker to the active roster or place him on injured reserve.

It would be a fast, though not unprecedented, turnaround from a torn ACL, but they have the option so they might as well see if there’s any chance he can contribute this season. With three games between now and the deadline to make a call, the Chargers have three games and those results could make a difference in a final decision as well.

The Chargers have already lost linebackers Dwight Freeney, signed just after Ingram was injured, and Larry English for the season.
