Giants plan to play physical against Dez Bryant

Dez Bryant has been a destructive force against opposing defenses so far this season for the Dallas Cowboys.

Bryant is tied for sixth in the league in receiving touchdowns with eight so far this year and is averaging over 14 yards a reception.

However, the New York Giants feel they have an idea as to how to slow Bryant down.

According to Justin Raanan of the Newark Star-Ledger, the Giants plan to get physical with Bryant at the line of scrimmage.

Get your hands on him,” safety Will Hill said. “He doesn’t like to be touched, like most receivers in this league. But really him. He doesn’t like to be touched.”

Cornerback Prince Amukamara shared the same sentiment.

“You just have to be physical with him,” Amukamara said. “He’s a big guy. You just have to use his medicine against him. I think that is the key.”

Hill said Bryant is a physical receiver once he gets the ball in his hands. However, it’s when he’s trying to get into his routes that the Giants feel they can disrupt him and cause issues for the Cowboys receiver.

The matchup between Bryant and the New York secondary should be a critical one in a highly important game for both teams and their hopes of winning the NFC East.
