Broncos take advantage of early turnovers for 17-0 lead

Denver Broncos v New England Patriots

The Broncos are off to a very hot start on a very cold night, and it has very little to do with either quarterback.

The Broncos are off to a 17-0 lead over the Patriots, after forcing three fumbles in the first half of the first quarter.

After Stevan Ridley’s was scooped and scored by Broncos linebacker Von Miller early, Miller followed by sacking Patriots quarterback Tom Brady and forcing one out.

That turned into a Knowshon Moreno touchdown run. For the third act, LeGarrette Blount coughed it up, which led to a field goal.

On a night with swirling winds and frigid temperatures, passing is going to be tough for either side. At the present rate, the Broncos won’t need to.
