Patriots score two quick touchdowns to get back in

Denver Broncos v New England Patriots

during a game at Gillette Stadium on November 24, 2013 in Foxboro, Massachusetts.

Jared Wickerham

The Broncos started running away with the game in the first half thanks to six Patriots fumbles.

The Patriots only needed one Broncos fumble to get back into it.

Taking advantage of the second half kickoff and a Montee Ball fumble, the Patriots have narrowed the gap to 24-14 in the third quarter.

With a short Tom Brady pass to Julian Edelman, then a touchdown run by Brandon Bolden, the Patriots have carved into the lead, or at least made it so Peyton Manning’s going to have to throw it.

And with the Broncos missing cornerback Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie (shoulder) for the rest of the night, there should be some easier matchups for Brady to throw at as well.
