As the NFL’s late-afternoon games heat up, the CFL’s championship game will kick off in Regina, Saskatchewan. And it will be a home game of sorts for the Saskatchewan Roughriders, who face the Hamilton Tiger-Cats in the 101st Grey Cup game.

NBCSN will air the Grey Cup, which begins at 6 p.m. Eastern.

For NFL fans, there may be some familiar names on both clubs.

Notable Roughriders with past NFL connections include quarterback Darian Durant, running back Kory Sheets, linebacker Tyron Brackenridge and defensive ends John Chick and Alex Hall.

For the Tiger-Cats, wide receiver Luke Tasker and quarterbacks Henry Burris and Dan LeFevour are among the players whom NFL observers may recall.
