Maybe Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger should want at least $20.1 million per year.
That’s the salary Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco currently earns, and Roethlisberger has for the most part owned Flacco during their respective NFL careers.
Since 2008, Roethlisberger has a 7-2 record against Flacco, including a 3-1 mark at Baltimore, the site of Thursday night’s game between the two teams.
Roethlisberger actually has missed four games against the Ravens and Flacco -- two due to injury in 2012, one due to suspension in 2010, and one due to a concussion with symptoms that flared up a day before the game.
Still, head to head Roethlisberger had consistently gotten the better of Flacco. If Ben does it again on Thursday night, maybe he will have made a strong case to at least be as paid as well as Flacco.
