Bailey, Moreno probable for Broncos

There have been four injured players drawing attention at Broncos practices this week and two of them are likely to be in the lineup against the Chiefs.

Running back Knowshon Moreno missed practice on Wednesday, but he has been able to work the last two days and is listed as probable for Sunday. Moreno injured his lower leg while running for 224 yards on 37 carries during Denver’s overtime loss to the Patriots.

Cornerback Champ Bailey is also probable for Denver, putting him in line to play for the first time since Week Seven. Bailey injured his foot in the preseason, missed several games to start the year and then reinjured the foot shortly after returning to the lineup. The veteran’s presence will be welcomed with Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie’s status still unclear because of a shoulder injury.

Rodgers-Cromartie is questionable for Sunday’s game, as is tight end Julius Thomas. Thomas missed last week’s game with a knee injury, but he was able to practice on a limited basis this week to give himself a chance of playing on Sunday.
