Giants show some degree of pride, cut deficit to 14-7

New York Giants v Washington Redskins

during their game at FedExField on December 1, 2013 in Landover, Maryland.

Rob Carr

These two teams might have only a mathematical chance at the playoffs, but they still have dignity.

A shred or two, at least.

The Redskins have responded to their prime-time beating at the hands of the 49ers by running out to a 14-0 lead on the Giants, but the Giants responded in kind.

With Andre Brown and Peyton Hillis (of course) carrying the load, the Giants just scored to cut it to within a touchdown on Brown’s 23-yard touchdown run.

It’s hard to tell which side will be able to sustain it, but there is evidence of apparent effort by both at this point.
