After losing Lance Dunbar for the rest of the season, just as he was showing up, the Cowboys are suddenly short at running back.

According to former personnel man Bryan Broaddus of the Cowboys’ official website, the team is working out a handful of backs this morning.

On hand for the Cowboys cattle calls are running backs Armando Allen, Curtis Brinkley, Delone Carter and Shaun Draughn and fullback Tyler Clutts.

Draughn and Carter have actually done some decent things at previous points in the league, but the Cowboys are scraping the bottom of the barrel here.
