Ravens will be without Dumervil, but Pitta’s back

New York Jets v Baltimore Ravens

at M&T Bank Stadium on November 24, 2013 in Baltimore, Maryland.

Rob Carr

The Ravens are getting one of their most trusted receiving targets back, but they’ll be without one of their most-needed pass-rushers.

After the Ravens brought tight end Dennis Pitta back to the active roster, they deactivated tight end Dallas Clark. That indicates they think Pitta is ready to not only play, but play a significant role.

But they’ll be without outside linebacker Elvis Dumervil, who missed practice all week with an ankle injury.

That shouldn’t be as much of an issue today against the Vikings, but they’ll definitely need Dumervil coming down the stretch as they scramble for a Wild Card spot.
