Colts cruise to easy win over Texans

griffwhalen

In a one-sided beatdown in Indianapolis, the Colts dominated the Texans today in all phases of the game today, winning easily the way a first place team should beat a last-place team.

Andrew Luck was efficient if not spectacular passing and Trent Richardson had his best game as a Colt (not that that’s saying much) after Donald Brown was sidelined with a stinger, and the Colts’ offense moved the ball with ease. Indianapolis jumped out to a 23-3 lead early in the third quarter, and the rest of the game was basically garbage time. This one was never competitive, and with the Colts tacking on a safety, the final was 25-3.

The Colts’ defense also did everything it wanted to do, with the Texans doing nothing on offense. Texans quarterback Case Keenum was terrible, completing just 18 of 34 passes for 168 yards, with two interceptions. The Colts are heading for a playoff preview game against the Chiefs with their defense playing well.

The Texans aren’t going anywhere except the first overall pick in the draft, which Houston is now two losses from clinching. This Houston season has been a disaster, and today’s game is another ugly loss.
