Jaguars off to nice start in quest to win fourth straight

Buffalo Bills v Jacksonville Jaguars

The Jaguars may be missing leading receiver Cecil Shorts and leading rusher Maurice Jones-Drew, but their offense has shown well thus far against the Bills on Sunday.

Quarterback Chad Henne hit rookie receiver Ace Sanders for a 12-yard touchdown to give Jacksonville a 10-3 early second-quarter lead against visiting Buffalo.

Henne was picked on the Jaguars’ first drive, which set up a Buffalo field goal. However, he’s picked it up since.

By contrast, the Bills’ passing game wasn’t as sharp early on. Rookie quarterback EJ Manuel was intercepted in the first quarter, leading to Jacksonville’s first points on a Josh Scobee field goal.

Jaguars tailback Jordan Todman is off to a solid start, rushing for 36 yards on nine carries.
