Tom Brady keeps it short at press conference

The Patriots lost 24-20 to the Dolphins on Sunday afternoon and quarterback Tom Brady wasn’t in much of a mood to discuss the hows and whys of the loss.

Several Patriots beat writers report that Tom Brady kept things exceedingly brief during his postgame press conference and leaving them with a fairly succinct and accurate read of why the Patriots came up short.

“We made some good plays. We made a lot of s--- plays,” Brady said, via Mike Reiss of ESPNBoston.com.

Brady was 34-of-55 for 364 yards with two touchdowns and the game-ending interception by Michael Thomas. The offense looked good when he hooked up with Danny Amendola and Julian Edelman, who combined for 23 catches and 270 yards, but there was definitely something missing from the team’s red zone attack with Rob Gronkowski out of the lineup. It didn’t help that the Dolphins pass rush hit Brady a lot, although they only sacked him once, on a day that was obviously frustrating for the Patriots quarterback.
