Bengals take 7-6 lead vs. Ravens

Minnesota Vikings v Cincinnati Bengals

In some ways, the Ravens had a good first quarter in Cincinnati. They intercepted Andy Dalton twice, turning those takeaways into a pair of Justin Tucker field goals.

Nevertheless, the Ravens found themselves down 7-6 to the Bengals through one quarter after Dalton hit wideout A.J. Green for a 53-yard touchdown.

On the play, Green got a free run through the Baltimore secondary, and when he got past safety Matt Elam, it was all over. Dalton hit the Bengals’ star receiver in stride, and the Bengals had their first points of the game.

The touchdown was the Bengals’ 51st of the season.

By contrast, the Ravens have just 28 touchdowns.

Should Baltimore miss the postseason, its offensive struggles will play no small part.
