Browns to meet with Chudzinski in the morning

Chud

Amid mounting speculation that the Browns will fire coach Rob Chudzinski after only one season, a league source tells PFT that the team will meet with Chudzinski on Monday morning to discuss the situation.

It’s currently not looking very good.

The biggest problem for Chudzinski is that, after a decent start, the team bottomed out, going 1-10 over the final 11 games of the season. They’ve lost those 10 games on average by more than 10 points each.

And then the Browns ended the season with seven straight losses, a Factory of Sadness record.

Despite issues at quarterback, it’s hard to blame the performance on a lack of talent; the Browns are sending five players to the Pro Bowl.Last year, the Chiefs had six Pro Bowlers and two wins. With a new coach and a new quarterback, the Chiefs turned it around, dramatically.

The Browns may indeed decide to do the same thing. While nothing officially has been decided, it’s not looking good.
