The Colts announced the signing of six players to reserve/future contracts on Monday, including quarterback Chandler Harnish, the final pick in the 2012 draft.
Harnish, 25, spent the 2013 season on the Colts’ practice squad.
The Colts carried just two quarterbacks on the roster this season: starter Andrew Luck and backup Matt Hasselbeck. In October, Hasselbeck told Alex Marvez of FoxSports.com that he intended to retire after the 2014 season. Hasselbeck is signed through next season.
The Colts also signed offensive guard Zach Allen, center Thomas Austin, linebacker Alan Baxter, defensive back Marcus Burley and tight end Martell Webb to reserve/future deals.
