The Bills have added a former Buccaneers position coach to their coaching staff.
The club announced Thursday it had hired former Tampa Bay safeties coach Jeff Hafley as a defensive assistant.
Hafley is entering his third season as an NFL assistant. He began his NFL coaching career as the Buccaneers’ assistant defensive backs coach in 2012, then worked with the club’s safeties in 2013.
Hafley, 34, had stints on the coaching staffs of Pittsburgh (2006-2010) and Rutgers (2011) before moving to the NFL.
