The Buccaneers have added the Browns’ longest-tenured assistant to their coaching staff.

The club announced the hiring of George Warhop as offensive line coach on Saturday. Warhop, 52, had coached the Browns’ offensive linemen since 2009, and he had worked under three different head coaches: Eric Mangini (2009-2010), Pat Shurmur (2011-2012) and Rob Chudzinski (2013).

Before joining Cleveland, Warhop had stints as an offensive line coach with the 49ers (2005-2008), Cowboys (2003-2004) and Cardinals (1998-2002). He was also the Rams’ assistant offensive line coach in 1996 and 1997.

The Browns fired Chudzinski 20 days ago. His successor will have to find replacements for multiple assistants who have departed, including defensive coordinator Ray Horton, who has taken the same position in Tennessee.
