Now that he’s finally in the job, Browns head coach Mike Pettine is picking up the pace with interview to fill his coaching staff.
In addition to the previously reported interview Wednesday with former Redskins offensive coordinator Kyle Shanahan, the Browns are also going to talk to Raiders quarterbacks coach John Defilippo on Thursday, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.
The 35-year-old Defilippo was the quarterbacks coach for the Jets in 2009, when Pettine worked there. He’s also worked for the Giants in addition to his two stints with the Raiders.
