New Redskins head coach Jay Gruden has his coaching staff set.

The club announced Tuesday the hiring of three assistant coaches: Bradford Banta (assistant special teams), Shane Day (assistant offensive line / offensive quality control) and Jake Peetz (offensive quality control).

Banta was the Lions’ assistant linebackers coach in 2013, but he was Detroit’s assistant special teams coach from 2008 through 2011.

Day was quarterbacks coach at the University of Connecticut last season. He coached the Bears’ quarterbacks in 2010 and 2011.

Peetz was a Jaguars assistant in 2012 and an analyst for the University of Alabama in 2013.

The club also has retained Aubrey Pleasant, who will be a defensive quality control coach this season. He served as an offensive assistant for Washington in 2013.

Gruden has finished hiring his assistants, the club said.
