The Packers have waived reserve guard/center Greg Van Roten, the NFL disclosed in its daily transactions on Tuesday.

The 23-year-old Van Roten appeared in three regular-season games on special teams for Green Bay this season. He spent most of the 2013 campaign on injured reserve with a foot injury. In 2012, he played in seven regular-season and two postseason games for the Packers as a reserve.

Van Roten (6-3, 303) signed with Green Bay in July 2012. He played collegiately at Pennsylvania.
