The pre-free agent frenzy is now officially on.

Long snappers are starting to sign.

Per Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press, the Lions have re-signed veteran Don Muhlbach to another one-year deal.

This one pays him $1.02 million, with a $65,000 signing bonus, qualifying for the veteran minimum benefit (which lowers his cap charge). It’s the third straight year he’s worked on a one-year deal with the Lions.

The 32-year-old Muhlbach has played his entire NFL career with the Lions.
