The Eagles took a page from Michael Corleone’s playbook last week and took care of almost all their family business in one fell swoop.
They avoided the possibility of losing wide receivers Riley Cooper and Jeremy Maclin to free agency by signing them to contracts and extended the deals of center Jason Kelce and left tackle Jason Peters to assure continuity on the offensive line. Cooper and Maclin may not be part of the free agent crop of receivers, but there will still be plenty of players hitting the market next Tuesday. Florio will preview the group and share some thoughts about where he sees the top members of the class landing when the dust settles.
