Richard Marshall spent 2010 in Carolina, 2011 in Arizona, 2012 in Miami and 2013 in San Diego. Now he’s finally going to stay put.
Marshall has re-signed with the Chargers, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
The 29-year-old Marshall played in all 16 games for the Chargers last year, starting six at cornerback. The Chargers’ pass defense was a mess last year, but they believe Marshall provides some veteran depth in the secondary.
This is the second cornerback signing in the last 24 hours for the Chargers; they signed Brandon Ghee away from the Bengals on Thursday.
