The Broncos’ defense has added some high-profile parts in free agency, but now there’s a defection from Denver.
Wesley Woodyard, who started 10 games at middle linebacker for the Broncos last season, is signing with the Titans. It’s a four-year, $16 million deal, Mike Garafolo of FOX Sports reports.
Woodyard has spent his entire career in Denver, arriving as an undrafted free agent in 2008. He’s developed a reputation as a hard-working player and a good guy off the field, and was selected as the team’s Walter Payton Man of the Year at the end of last season.
Woodyard was No. 83 on our Free Agent Hot 100.
