The Lions have re-signed a defensive lineman with ample experience with Detroit.

Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press reports the club has reached a deal with reserve defensive tackle Andre Fluellen, who played 13 games with the Lions in 2013.

A third-round pick of Detroit in 2008, the 29-year-old Fluellen has appeared in 69 regular season games, recording 55 tackles and 2.5 sacks.

The Lions re-signed Fluellen in July 2013 after he had a short stint with Chicago. The Lions released Fluellen in August 2013, then re-signed him on September 23 after Jason Jones suffered a season-ending injury.
