Report: Strahan could co-host Good Morning America

Strahan

Well, Warren Sapp may have another reason to envy Michael Strahan.

Strahan, who’ll enter the Pro Football Hall of Fame in August, will become a co-host on Good Morning America, according to the New York Daily News.

The deal isn’t signed yet, but Strahan and ABC reportedly are on the verge of finalizing a contract. It could be announced this week.

He’ll continue to co-host Live with Kelly and Michael. And the development reportedly is unrelated to the departure of Josh Eliot for NBC. Instead, the move has been in the works for months.

The move will spark speculation that Strahan will leave FOX NFL Sunday. It’s our understanding that Strahan will indeed stay with FOX, traveling back and from each weekend from New York to Los Angeles.
