The Panthers went through the entire draft without selecting a tackle (despite it being their biggest need), and they didn’t bother signing any undrafted rookies there either.

The team announced agreements with nine undrafteds, including: Michigan State linebacker Denicos Allen, Ohio State wide receiver Philly Brown

Texas cornerback Carrington Byndom, Florida Atlantic linebacker Adarius Glanton, Missouri wide receiver Marcus Lucas, Ohio State guard Andrew Norwell, Alabama-Birmingham running back Darrin Reaves, West Virginia defensive tackle Shaq Rowell and Miami center Jared Wheeler.

They’re also going to invite 25 to 35 players to minicamp this weekend on a tryout basis.

The Panthers needed upgrades at both tackle spots after Jordan Gross’s retirement, but appear content to left overmatched right tackle Byron Bell take that spot, and let players including Garry Williams and Nate Chandler also compete for a starting job.
